As you progress through the content in the Elder Scrolls Online, you will presumably reach a point where your DPS is high enough that you can take on most things solo, like world bosses, public dungeons, and even group dungeons.
If you decide that you want to run some normal four-person dungeons, there are a few that make forgiving test environments:
- Fungal Grotto
- Spindleclutch I
- Darkshade Caverns I
Basically any of the base-game normals work well, outside of City of Ash. They can be soloed on Vet mode, too, for extra challenge.
Why run solo four-man dungeons?
It’s a good way to test your build’s sustain and survivability, as well as see how reliable your rotation really is. If you’re wanting to start running Maelstrom, this is also a the simplest way to ease yourself into “solo” content with more enemies and mechanics than most other base-game content.
What’s your favourite ESO dungeon?
Arx Corinium and Blessed Crucible are fun!
